This is a picture pastel of little cowboy Isaac out for the day, for his first time away from home. We where taking a vacation at a dude ranch some where in the western a area ( I can’t remember ) to get away from work and home. We toke the kids and the loaded up the car and away we went. To the dude ranch we go. I’d set him outside by the horses and he was so cute happy in his cowboy outfit. I’d just had to make a picture of him. I selected a great picture to draw with pastel to see how it looked in his cowboy outfit and to make it a great western picture and the unique challenge to the picture. And to find the emotions that ascent of the picture. That the give the unique charter to it. I like to study the different muscle and bone pattern within the figure. And the facial expressions to the, face in the mouth and eyes which are key the picture.
